Compare Fruits for Travel
Travel comparison is for daily map traversal: reaching islands, NPCs, bosses, quests, rooftops, and sea routes. It separates a short teleport or dash from flight, transformation flight, water-surface travel, and a move whose long-distance value is still unknown.

What this tool is for
Make a fruit switch with the job in view
Fruit Comparison answers a focused question: should the fruit you have now stay equipped, or is the fruit you just found a better next move for the activity that matters today? Select both fruits and choose your immediate priority. The tool reads the existing fruit board for that goal, shows the two relevant tiers, and keeps the other five goals visible so a narrow improvement does not hide a meaningful trade-off.
A current-versus-candidate decision
This is not a general fruit directory. The left selector is the fruit you currently use; the right selector is the option asking for your resources. That framing matters when a switch has a real cost. The verdict tells you what the current board supports for this pair and this goal, while the scorecard lets you see where the recommendation would change if your route changes later.
Six route lenses, no secret score
Overall, Grinding, PvP, Bosses, Travel, and Beginner are separate tier lenses. Pick the one that matches your active route rather than assuming Overall answers every question. The comparison reads those listed tiers directly. It does not combine them into a hidden weighted score, convert rarity into strength, or create an artificial 100-point rating just to produce a winner.
Source status stays part of the answer
A rank has less value when its live behavior still needs confirmation. Each result retains its status badge and the tool can return a close call, verify-first result, or reference-only result instead of exaggerating confidence. That is intentional: the right response to incomplete or update-sensitive evidence is a cautious next step, not a confident reroll command.
Why the comparison starts with your goal
A better tier can still be the wrong route choice
Replacing a fruit is usually a timing decision, not a search for a permanent champion. A player clearing progression content, a player preparing for a boss route, and a player focused on PvP can rationally choose different priorities from the same board. Choosing the goal first makes the result explainable: you can see which lens changed the call and whether another part of your plan would be weakened by the switch.
Protect a beginner route
If you are early in progression, select Beginner instead of letting a generic overall placement decide for you. The result will compare the entries through that route lens, then show the wider scorecard for context. This prevents a player-friendly choice from being dismissed simply because it is not the same answer as an endgame, bossing, or PvP-oriented recommendation.
Test the activity you will actually play
Select Grinding when your next stretch is farming, Bosses when you are planning that route, or PvP when that is the decision in front of you. The goal selector does not claim that every mechanic is measured; it chooses which documented tier column the tool reads. Treat the full scorecard as a quick trade-off map, not a prediction of every encounter.
Save resources when evidence is thin
A new fruit can look tempting because of its name, rarity, or a single anecdote. Those are not enough to turn it into a stronger recommendation. When the tool flags reference-only or verify-first data, hold the switch, inspect the wiki evidence, and wait for a stronger live check. That restraint is often more valuable than a fast but unsupported answer.
How to compare two fruits
Run the decision in five deliberate steps
The tool is built for a quick in-game decision, but a short setup prevents most bad comparisons. Keep the question small, use the goal that matches the next activity, and let the status badge set the confidence level of the call.
01Set the fruit you have now
Choose your equipped fruit as Current fruit. If My Haze Seas is configured, use the shortcut to load its saved fruit instead of retyping the plan from memory. That saved selection is a convenience, not fresh evidence; make sure it still matches your actual current fruit before using the result.
02Choose one realistic candidate
Put the fruit you can genuinely choose next in the New fruit selector. By default, the roster emphasizes available non-form entries so the first comparison is a practical one. If you are researching a form or an unavailable entry, reveal reference entries deliberately and expect the tool to preserve that qualification rather than treating it as a live recommendation.
03Pick your current priority
Select Overall, Grinding, PvP, Bosses, Travel, or Beginner. Do not choose the goal that makes the candidate look best; choose the one that describes the next thing you intend to do. You can run a second comparison for another route afterward, but read it as a separate scenario rather than averaging all six labels into a made-up score.
04Read the verdict and scorecard together
Select Compare fruits. The verdict explains the call for the selected goal, while the row-by-row scorecard reveals the other tier lenses. Read the Current and New cards as well: their status badge, first documented edge, watch-out, and wiki link tell you why a rank alone may not settle the decision.
05Commit, save, or verify
When an available candidate has a clear replace call, you can set it as your current fruit in My Haze Seas or save it as a plan target. A keep call is still useful: it tells you not to spend on this candidate for the chosen route. For close, verify-first, or reference-only results, open the evidence and keep the decision tentative.
Data and decision limits
A clear choice without fake precision
The tool compares the listed Overall, Grinding, PvP, Bosses, Travel, and Beginner tiers directly. Travel rankings use confirmed movement mechanisms and a human-maintained route tier, not a fake numeric score. It does not invent prices, drop odds, DPS, skill multipliers, movement speed, distance, duration, stamina cost, cooldown, or a hidden weighted score when the available sources do not support one.
Ranks are directionalTier labels summarize the current board for a stated use case. They are useful for a fast route check, but they are not a measured damage test and they do not describe every move, combo, target, or player preference.
Status can override a switchNeeds-testing, update-sensitive, and legacy-renamed candidates receive a verify-first response when they would otherwise win. Unavailable or unreleased candidates are reference-only. The tool intentionally does not promote uncertain data into a confident live decision.
Rarity is context, not proofRarity can appear on the fruit card as source context, but it is not used as a shortcut for strength. Read the goal-specific tiers, status, documented edge, and watch-out before treating a candidate as an upgrade.
How Travel Rankings WorkOnly source-listed flight, teleport, dash, water, glide, and form mechanics are used. A transformation is evaluated as its own entry, never copied onto the base fruit. Unknown range, speed, duration, steering, or energy data stays visibly Unknown or Needs Testing.
Data status: Board-based recommendation. If the result would consume a scarce spin or reroll and its status asks for verification, treat it as a tentative route signal and check the linked wiki source before committing.
Fruit comparison FAQ
Answers before you replace a fruit
These questions explain how the comparison behaves so its verdict remains useful, fast to scan, and honest about the data that supports it.
Which Haze Seas fruit is best for travel?
Travel Tier is a source-aware route label rather than a speed test. The best choice depends on whether you need a listed flight skill, a short teleport or dash, water-surface travel, vertical movement, or a lower unlock gate. The comparison shows those differences and leaves unmeasured values as Unknown.
Which Haze Seas fruits can fly?
The tool marks a fruit as Can Fly only when its current source card lists a flight-named move. It also distinguishes ordinary listed flight from transformation-only flight and does not assume that a base fruit inherits a form’s movement ability.
Which fruit is best for crossing the sea?
A water-walk or water-travel mechanism is shown separately from flight. When a source does not publish reliable cross-sea range, speed, duration, or interruption data, the comparison says Unknown instead of declaring a universal best sea-crossing fruit.
Does Travel Tier include combat strength?
No. Travel Tier is maintained independently from Overall, Grinding, PvP, and Bosses. Damage, AoE, combo strength, and combat popularity do not raise a fruit’s Travel Tier.
Should I switch fruits only for faster travel?
Only switch when map traversal is your immediate priority. A one-tier travel improvement, a high Mastery gate, a transformation requirement, or incomplete testing can make the better route option a poor overall replacement for grinding, PvP, or bosses.
